From the Synod Executive:
Welcome to the third edition of the Synod of Living Waters’ new online newsletter, the “Virtual Voice.”
It is my pleasure and honor in this edition to announce the launch of the synod’s new website – including a new address: www.synodlw.org. Among other features of the new website is an archive of these newsletters.
With an emphasis on this synod’s theme of water (including our mission project, Living Waters for the world!), our presbytery pages are linked to pictures from bodies of water from within the bounds of each of our twelve presbyteries. And at least for our start-up period of the website launch, our staff has become a ship’s crew – so don’t miss our staff page under the “About Us” tab!
All suggestions for website improvements are welcome, and please forward this newsletter to others and encourage them to sign up to receive it personally, which they can do here; We need to spread the word about all that God is doing in and through the Presbyterians in our bounds!
Also, Carie Turner, long time Financial Administrator for both the Synod of Living Waters and Living Waters for the World, is retiring at the end of October of this year. I want to personally express my gratitude for Carie’s faithful service to our synod, and on behalf of the entire synod, express our best wishes to her in her future endeavors.
